The production process is sustainable and ecological. The seaweed used in the production of vegan products does not come from the sea, it is grown in large tanks containing artificial seawater. This protects ocean resources and preserves the food base of fish. This way, the natural ecosystem of the Norsan Sea is not interfered with, and the food supply of fish and krill (small crustaceans) remains intact.
The recommended daily dose is 5 ml, which corresponds to one teaspoon. Thanks to its pleasant taste and liquid form, “Omega-3 Vegan” is easy to use. It can be consumed pure or mixed with a drink or food. One bottle contains 100 ml.
The product should be stored out of indirect sunlight and in a cool, dry place at temperatures below 25°C. Keep out of the reach of small children. After opening, the bottle should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 30 days.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids that our body cannot produce itself, so they must be obtained from food. However, a distinction must be made between the plant-based omega-3 fatty acid ALA and the two marine omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.
The fatty acid ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) is found in flax and chia seeds, flaxseed oil or nuts. However, the body does not absorb it, but converts it into two other fatty acids, EPA and DHA. However, the conversion rate is very low, only 5-10% (depending on weight, metabolism, etc.). Marine omega-3 fatty acids are the most effective for the body, as they are better absorbed and provide maximum health benefits.
EPA and DHA fatty acids are only found in algae, fish or krill. These two fatty acids, EPA and DHA, are particularly important for the human body, as they are part of the membrane of each of our cells. They are especially necessary for our heart, brain and eyes. This has been proven by numerous scientific studies.
